PPA Teacher (mainly EYFS and KS1) and Computer Lead

(Until July 2019 but may be extended)

Required: Monday 7th January 2019

Salary: MPS and TLR

We are currently looking for a PPA teacher to work until the end of this academic year with the possibility of it becoming permanent for 2019/20. We are also looking for someone who has the confidence and experience to lead Computing across the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of teaching across all 3 phases- EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Be an excellent communicator and flexible in their approach
  • Have outstanding teaching skills and exceptional subject knowledge to secure rapid pupil progress
  • Be a teacher with a passion and belief that all children can achieve
  • Be a hardworking and supportive team member
  • Able to provide evidence of accurate assessment practices
  • Thorough understanding of the Computing Curriculum including an understanding of how to teach Coding in Primary Schools.
  • Thorough understanding of how Computing can be used to enhance the teaching of other subjects
  • The ability to help lead a team and manage the work of others. This includes working closely with our Digital Leaders.

Closing date for all positions: Monday 12th November (12 noon)

Interview Dates: Tuesday 20th November.
