Senior Generic Payments Officer
We are recruiting an experience Senior Payments Officer to manage Social Care payments to both residents and providers of social care services.
The successful candidate will ensure that direct payments, placements, and homecare payments are made in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with the agreed payment schedules of the department and financial regulations of the Council.
Payments are made electronically through the social care database – Mosaic, which interfaces into the accounting system.
The senior officer will manage 2 staff who will assist in the payment process, recovery of overpayments and dealing with queries. The senior officer will also be responsible for making payments, recovery of overpayments and queries.
